Identification – If you dream about being asked for your identification, this indicates that you are being challenged in a way that you find somewhat threatening to your self-image or your feeling of self-worth. If you dream that you have to get a new identification card, there may have been some change in your life recently that is making your re-think the way you perceive yourself and your relationship to others and the world around you.

If you dream of losing your identification card, this signifies an existential crisis precipitated by the challenge of another person or some unforeseen circumstance.

  1. I had a dream that some church usher is asking us as congregation to look for National IDs and I realised I I had mine but he went further and said those without it take note of this number, send yo details in to this no but as I rushed to note the number down on a paper I couldn’t finish it, I came out of the dream

  2. I had a dream that I was asked for my ID card from a bank teller, and I could only find my student one, which was broken. There was frustration from the teller before I realized that my perfectly intact State ID was in my pocket and presented that to her?

  3. I dreamt that I had three student identity cards all carrying different names and the security man at the entrance of the school asked me to stop and stay beside him that why are mine with three different id cards. And the school is the university where I graduated from what does this mean?

  4. I had a dream someone pointing me out of a picture posted on television. I want to know the meaning? Thank you very much

  5. I had a dream that I went back to high school with a new look and a new name and a new personality and I was scared that my secret would be found out, but then my closest friend was in my dream and I ended up telling her and then she screamed “oh my god your Giavonna!!” In front of everybody and then I woke up.

I had dream early this am that I was at my old high school & we were in one of the large, front stairways. It was an entire class & a few teachers. This one female teacher came up to me & asked if I had anything illegal on me. I replied no & she gave me a questioning look. I then felt a cigarette pack in my back pocket(which is illegal to have on school grounds) & I got a little nervous. It wasn’t a normal regular or 100s sized pack though, it was the size of the large match books, so it went up half way on my back. She then asked how old I was & I said I was less than a month from my 21st birthday & she said she needed to see some form of identification. After I gave it to her she studied it, bent the top a little & gave it back to me bent. Unsure of the bent Id meaning, I can’t even make a conclusion yet, so any thoughts would be appreciated

In my dream, I am in a military uniform (I used to be military) and I had to get a new ID card. A woman, military as well, hands me an envelope with the new card. When I open it, I notice my picture is missing. I tell the woman and she said she will send it back to get it fix.

(I searched the web for the interpretation of missing picture on an ID Card but I couldn’t find anything. Do you have an idea what it could mean?) – Thanks

Seeing as there was no picture where your face belongs might mean you have lost touch with your image, you don’t like your image or even perhaps you don’t feel like some people see you. An envelope in a dream usually represent what it does in waking life. This may be a message from your self-consciousness, or even an angel. Seeing as the issue is being resolved in the dream might mean you are coming to a closure of this sort of problem or at least it will be resolved soon.
